Feel the Disney Enchantment in Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland: A Brief Background

Being the first Disney theme park to be open outside of the United States, Tokyo Disneyland Resort has been successful in attracting visitors from around the world. It opened on April 15, 1983 and has celebrated its 25 year anniversary last April 2008. The park is located in Urayasu in Chiba which is near Tokyo. It is composed of theme park divisions, resorts and shopping malls within it.

The park covers the style of Disneyland California and the Magic Kingdom in Disney World Florida. Although the park is not directly owned by the Walt Disney company, it is supervised by the Oriental Land Company which has gained access and license in using the Disney theme for this park. Setting aside this fact, the park has been successful all year round and has been entertaining both children and adults.

The Tokyo park is open usually at 8am and closes at 10pm.
